Disgraceful how bail jumping lawyers can flee the jurisdiction with apparent impunity. The Incorporated Law Society of Ireland which governs this branch of an overstaffed profession has had to deal with a steady succession of rogue solicitors in recent times. One law seemingly for the rich and another for the poor. Alas, despite all his ill gotten gains, he must be living life looking over his shoulder. The shoot street urchins over there.

His spell in Portugal was to learn Brazil's National language. There are loads of Irish Bars in Brazil that serve Guiness, so he won't be that uncomfortable.
Paradoxically, there are lots of Brazilians living in Gort, near Galway, where they work in the meat processing industry. Funny old world, isn't it?
Naturally, there are lots of Irish children with olive skin.
