Not since 1994 has Ireland seen unemployment figures like these. However, the difference is that 14-years ago the labor force was one-third smaller at only two million. These figures seem to prove that Ireland remains in the grips of recession.

The crazy thing is that the Irish government encourages IMMIGRATION by foreigners into Ireland, even as they encourage Irish people to emigrate. The Chinese, Russians, Poles, Indians etc. arrive, while the Irish leave. In a few decades there won't be a recognizable Irish nationality.

No better here in the U.S.--the leaders have never been business people and don't have any idea how to stimulate the economy. Too much political agenda going on here and Europe so those in control can keep their jobs.

Its going to get worse based on the financial geniuses who wasted all of the European funds financing pretentiousness American Corporations instead of investing in indigenous industries.
