People said the same on the Dublin - London route, €15 each way for a ticket is unsustainable. Im flying to Dublin next week with Ryanair and paid £36 Total including any extra charges. I remember a few year back i bought a ticket for 1p each way, with debit card charges the ticket cost me £10.02. Obviously not all seats on the flight are at that price. Book early and you will get a good deal.
One can only shudder at the thought! Imagine traveling across the Atlantic on Ryanair? And those lows fares are economically unsustainable in any event and do not include Ryanairs hidden costs for which they are infamous!
@phili04, O'Leary said he will have seats €99/$130 each way to the US.
Does that mean Aer Lingus will become competitive with other transcontinental flights?
I hope he is smart enough to keep the name...I want to fly Aer Lingus Ryanair to me is no different than any other air line
