Hi Debbie, I am an American Citizen all my life and met someone 7 years ago...we kept in touch on the internet till about 4 years ago I moved to Ireland ..I was able to come in and out of ireland leaving every 3 months and comming back in ..But 3 months ago the imagration officer at the airport said I was only allowed 3 months of one given year to come into Ireland...he gave me one month to pack all my things and go back to America...I never took any money from this country ..I always fended for myself from my american bank account.. (which by the way cost me $1.50 for 1.00 euro) ... well I went out of the country and came back in saying I wanted to retire into Ireland ..I was given a form to fill out...and I had to provide a utility bill with my name on it ( which I had) and Medical Insurance (which I had ) and over a certain amount in a Irish bank account ( which I did) and pay 150.00 euros to file the aplication....now I am entitled to live here in Ireland for one year and have to go through the same process again next year..just to prove to them I am no burden to Ireland.. My b/f is a singer and we would love to move to America.. He is Irish ..what do we have to go through to get him a green card or be able to live in America...one more thing ...he does have a heart condition so we would need medical also...please help ... thank you ..God Bless
