IT WOULD BE A BIT LIKE ME STEREOTYPING AMERICANS AND SAY THEY ALL ONLY EAT KFC OR MAC DONALDS .. WELL ITS NOT SO... BUT NOW I REALISE WHEN I COME ON HERE AND READ WHATS WRITTEN ABOUT IRISH PEOPLE AND WHAT RUBBISH AMERICANS ARE FED ABOUT US. .... As an Irish American who has dated lasses from every content I can tell you that without a doubt this is an Irish list. It starts off saying don't drink but the writers must have been drunk by number 2 because they skipped over number 3 entirely. haha Furthermore, ya Corkshire goons, American women can't all drink but that just means you are with the wrong girl, as any college town can tell you there are plenty~o~gals who will tip the pint back with the best of them. As the saying goes if you can't be with the one you love, drink with the one your with at least until she's in love with you.
Ha Ha. Where's #3?
Not sure what part of America that you've spent your time at but you pretty much described most American men. It is not the just the Irish men, and I think that if you would stop insulting your men, you might have a chance with them. Big deal, if they get drunk, make the best of it. Paying for the tab? Please, American women have been taking men out for years and fronting the bill. Mammy's boys?? Come to the southern part of the U.S, we will show you a Momma's boy, and besides, if they treat their mom well, they will automatically know how to treat a woman. I feel sorry for Irish men when it comes to their own women insulting them.
It's AWESOME. And bn an American girl I can truly say "you got that right". Now how's about an article for us American gals who want to date an TRUE Irishman?! I'm looking forward to the knowledge of it. Have a beautiful day!
You nailed it!!!!!!!!
I loved loved loved it.
No 9 ruined it for me.
Hopefully this is a joke..."Sound," American women may not like to date a drunk but the rest of this coloum is hogwash...pure BS.
Well first off I have to say Bravo, if this was a joke it certainly made me laugh! I'm from Minnesota in the US. Only a few of those stereotypes I can say are true for myself such as the chivalry and don't be a sleaze on the first date bit- though I admit the irish accent is attractive, I would hate to think that's all he has going for him!
Oh, come on! You sound as if you think that we Americans are idiots.
jaysus christ...i never read such bollix in my life...is this meant to be a joke?
That is exactly what Irish guys here in Australia try to do. But you don't see us saying "G'day" all the time do you. It's terrible what lengths some people will go to. Luckily Australian women are more sceptical than our Yank counterparts and catch on pretty quick. Dodgy, dodgy men!
