St. Patricks’s Day parade route to be cut short by city

It's a tough economy out there and when we are seeing vital services cut, we need to be realistic about the fun stuff. If we are endangering people by closing fire houses and cutting EMS and Police services than we should just accept that there is just so much money to go around and be glad they aren't cutting the parade completely. If you lived in an area where a fire house or school closes you would be understanding.
