Irish in New York rally support for ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protesters

I love the stupidity of the anti-OWS folk. They repeat things they were fed by the right wing nuts and refuse to accept reality. Everything is the Democrats' fault...and Obama's fault...and the media's fault...and everybody's but their fault. And God, himself, coming down in all his glory, would not be able to open their eyes to the truth. It would be funny if they weren't so busy supporting the very people who got us into this disaster.

The protesters are exercising thie democratic rights.I notice the dicredited newscorp/Fox news are doing everything intheir power to castigate and demonise the protesters .A sure sign of fear.

She needs to get a grip & the protesters that are getting free food and drink need to get real. This protest is heavily financed by the labor unions & left wing socialists. They are talking on their cell phones, writing on their IPads living the good life and expecting others to finance their lazy habits.

“While everybody is getting laid ... , bank fees are going up, no one seemed to get organized and say something ... meaningful,” she reflects.

There's no great mystery to what the protests are all about - the system works to the advantage of just a small number of people, and the rest of us are disadvantaged by it. This didn't happen overnight, but it's gotten so bad that young people have nothing to look forward to.

It's great to see the movement call for change in America's absurdly restrictive immigration policies, which serve mainly to keep undocumented workers from organizing into labor unions.

This should have happened years ago; thank God it's happening now.

Its interesting the two Irishmen did not mention BO who has for three years done S--t about the economy....O I forgot he did something....increase the debt by almost 4 1/2 trillion in three short years... He is in over his head.....Wake up....

Once again, Irish-American prove just how stupid they are. The "Occupy Wal;l Street" movement is looking for income redistribution, collectivizing industry...all directly from "Das Kapital" by Karl Marx. Morons.

And when it gets cold and they leave what will they have accomplished ? Other than demonstrated they are unhappy. A specific goal and a plan to get it done is what is needed. Focus on a couple of polticians and put all your efforts into defeating them or get bills introduced to implement change. But standing around complaining that others are rich and you are not won't work. There is strength in numbers but not without a goal.

Right on, y'all!! We here in Georgia are behind y'all. Wish I could be there, but I cannot afford the ticket!! With you in spirit! We should do this in Atlanta & every state capital in the U.S. Then, Irish go to Washington!!
