it is nice to hear about good irish doctors who care and take the time to understand cfs/fibro...cfs/fibro and gulf war illnesses are all the exact same illnesses...atleast he has the courage to openly speak about an illness that is not accepted and of course he will be knocked by his peers who think we just dream up these symptoms up...it is realy sad for the patients who do die and the medical community sits back and has a laugh but a high percentage of them will be stricken with this illness and their laughing will come to a full stop...once you get this your lives will be trashed and you will have a complete different attitude towards this illness and trust me when i say this, 'you will wish for your life to end' and a lot of you will not endure what we suffer day in and day out...i think the b.s. in the medical community will stop soon and the clowns like simon 'the weasle' wessley who is the laughing stock of the medical world...can you all imagine a man with a ph.d. in phyco-babble gets to be part of a retrovirology publication paper and he has no training in retroviruses detection...a real cfids circus clown...the man needs some serious mental help...the only reason this man chose his line of work was to get himself some help...he is a disgrace to anyone in the medical field...the man is suicidal...he is the most dangerous person allowed to walk the streets of the u.k. he has done more harm for patients and should be arrested on serious criminal charges... very sincerely aidan walsh southampton, u.k. god bless this irish doctor derek enlander...

The Doctor is on the right track if he is thinking XMRV causes CFS. But will someone please tell the good doctor about tick borne illness like Lyme disease (Borrelia burgdorferi) and Rickettsia, and Mycoplasma, etc ,etc... not to mention CBW... He just needs to Google Plum Island
