Duped by scammers and dropped unceremoniously

They did not follow Irish adoption rules 'to the letter', otherwise they would not have used a US adoption agency to broker these adoptions. They should've only used/involved the Adoption Authority of Ireland and they know it. Disingenuous at best. This is what happens when adoption becomes about finding children for desperate couples, instead of finding homes for children who desperately need them. AS AAI chairman Geoffrey Shannon said on RTE Prime Time last night, couples do "not have a right to adopt; children have a right to a home." When will we ever get it?
