Although the uber-Liberal city has some beautiful sights and wonderful things to do there are lots of people waiting to prey on innocents from abroad. San Francisco is a "sanctuary city", meaning they don't arrest the illegal aliens from Mexico. Many are serious criminals and drug dealers.

ProudCanadian, yes indeed Canada is a fantastic place with an infinite variety of things to do and things to see. I enjoyed Tornonto very much as well as Quebec and Nova Scotia. But there are many, many more great places to spend a summer.

its sad that this continues to happen every year. If they google on this topic, irish students should be learning the rules of the road. Its not unusual and if they do their homework right, half of these messes can be avoided. if you're seriously going to rent from someone you dont even know, try to get a local housing agency/realtor to verify it. Students need to do more homework before handing over cash!!
