Sure all those army lads are deaf from the lack of ear muffs. They've probably already received the call, but no one heard the phone ringing ....
WoundedKnee - the catholics of the north were still undefended in the 70s-90s, Lynch & his cronies gave all youse money to Baron Gerry & the Crazy gang thinking they could bomb the brits out of ireland. Now 41 years later, we have an agreement that ensures that NI is in the UK for the foreseeable future (i really couldn't care less, as long as the violence stops) & we have had to take a £7b bail out from them. In hindsight we should have just got rid of the irish govt, gone for direct rule from westminster & equality for all faiths would have been more achievable in a shorter time under the brits.
I once read that there was a possibility of a military coup in 1969, when the Catholics in the North were being left undefended by the Dublin government. Subsequently, any of the officers who had shown nationalistic leanings were pensioned out of the Irish Army, and the current officer class of lazy overpaid slobs was instituted. These creeps are more loyal to NATO than to Ireland, though of course their first loyalty is to their pocketbooks.
Ned O'Keefe has always been an idiot..Who has ever taken notice of what he says.Charles J. Haughey a hero says it all. That's Kevin O'Keeffe out of the running anyway. Thanks to his old man..LOL
Wait.....Ireland has a military?
I HOPE THIS old yesterday's man is just blowing off as he leaves the stage, and has not let slip a Secret FF fall-back Plan!~~~~~~~ It seems promising that son Kevin was quick to distance himself from the statement. ~~~~~~~~ What might happen if the Army did break out of Barracks if the ensuing war with NATO and UN troops (including units of the British Army!!) tore the country apart in a repeat of the troubles of last century, is anybody's quess. Mind you, the Results will be in,it's coming up to that Easter Silly Season again, so almost anything is possible!
