Too bad the actresses of this day do not even come close to the genuine class and character this LADY possesses.
Now that is the woman who could have portrayed Granuaile...no celluloid airhead there...!
Please don't show these photo's of this goddess they make me feel so inadequate...!
Anyone visiting Ireland should go and see the Foynes Flying Boat Museum which really captures this era of romantic international travel. There is even a replica of the first flying boat, the Yankee Clipper that Maureens husband Charlie Blair flew into Ireland from the United States in 1939.
