Excellent article by Patricia! While tourism is a great factor in Ireland’s economy, it is not the only one. Its ordinary people are one other important factor for its economy. We work, you see, even against the odds. You could have mentioned that too. Bejacers, how could you have not mentioned that?? Or its thriving craic in recessionary times? That has no price. Or its Cead Mile Failte to all. We don't need name-dropping parties to be attended to earn tasting the delicious brown brown bread we bake, amongst all else. Did you not tell people that when God created Ireland he created a piece of Heaven on earth? :-)
